ProSeries Professional
This course is designed to help make sure that you're ready for tax season using the new version of ProSeries. The information provided in this course helps ensure that you understand all the changes and get up to date quickly.
Each chapter contains between 3-7 topics related to new features and functionality as well as general enhancements made in the ProSeries software for tax year 2007. We have provided video demonstrations and screen shots throughout to help you better understand the concepts described. Note that some of the video demonstrations provided throughout this training may contain some slight inaccuracies due to the timing of this course and the product release.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this course you should be able to:
- Improve the level of service you give your clients by utilizing the new Client Checklist feature to gather needed tax information.
- Add value to the services you offer by utilizing the new Client Presentation feature.
- Quickly access any client's summary information without exiting the active return using the Client Snapshot feature.
- Easily find where to enter data in the 1065 program with the help of Where Do I Enter feature improvements.
- Effectively navigate the redesigned K-1 input screens in the business programs, as well as the redesigned Schedule D and Form 8283 screens in the 1040 program.
- Easily identify where new tax provisions have been implemented with an increased awareness of how our ProSeries development teams incorporated them.
