How do I start offering bank products to my clients?
In order to offer bank products to your clients, you must first enroll with a bank. ProSeries/Bank Products software is compatible with multiple banks, including Santa Barbara Bank and Trust (SBBT), and Refund Advantage which offer some of the most competitive pricing in the industry. Santa Barbara Bank and Trust (SBBT) is integrated with ProSeries software. Refund Advantage requires additional software that is provided by each bank.
Once you've enrolled with a bank, you will receive instructions from the bank on how to proceed and a registration kit with the supplies you need.
What are the different types of bank products?
Supported bank product applications include the Refund Transfer, State Refund Transfer and Refund Anticipation Loan all of which can be disbursed either as checks printed in the preparer's office or as direct deposits to the taxpayer's bank account.
